In November we looked at kusarifundo 鎖分銅 (literally, Weighted Chain) for the first time in many years. Although there is no kusarifundo densho within any of the official 9 schools of the Bujinkan, Hatsumi sensei did in fact study the weapon under Masaki Ryu in his youth.

Early in the month we had a grading session whereby the kyusha had the chance to up their rank, and many did. So congratulations to all!

We have also been recently re-visiting Bujinkan Battojutsu, or simply Batto, and tonight we looked at some forms of various noto 納刀 (re-sheathing the blade).
