Last night we had a smaller group of people on the training, which is occasionally nice because every individual gets more time with the teacher and can receive more corrections to their kamae, punching, flow...
The training started with punching and kicking drills:
1. Jodan uke nagashi
2. Zenpo tsuki (fudo ken)
3. Zenpo keri
We used those drills to warm up a bit and get the blood flowing. After that we did some Ryutai Undo Ho stretches. Pictures (at the bottom) are taken from the Togakure Ryu Ninpo Taijutsu book by Soke.
After that we did some free flowing techniques, each one changing with the way opponent moves. The emphasis was on exploring the position you put yourself in compared to attacker, where you can punch, kick, pinch, do a lock in a flowing manner.
Hatsumi Soke stretching.
Something we should all work towards.
