After working on the fine detail, and importance of holding proper kamae all the way through various kaiten drilling at the start of class; we moved on to some free flowing taijutsu, using hicho no kamae in defense.

Later, the dan grades studied Kukishinden Ryu Jojutsu 九鬼神伝流杖術, starting with Jumonji, the first waza in the Shoden no Kata 初傳之型. And the kyu grades continued their focus on the forthcoming grading exams.
