We started the class with more punching drills into focus mitts and built up on it:
1. Zenpo tsuki
2. Jodan uke nagashi
3. Jodan uke nagashi with omote shuto
After that we practiced first three katas from Kihon Happo with emphasis on how our punching drills have improved the general skill :
Ichimonji no kata
1. Jodan uke
2. Omote shuto
Hicho no kata
1. Gedan uke nagashi
2. Zenpo keri
3. Ura shuto
Jumonji no kata
1. Two jodan Dakken uke
2. Two Boshi ken
After the break we continued with another technique from Koto Ryu:
括拷 Kakkō – arresting torture
And different henka that incorporate the katas core movement with changes to how the opponent reacts and how distance changes depending of your position.
Gambatte
