A fantastic night of training at the Dojo began with the third week of the beginners course and it was packed!
There was a great energy on the mats and excellent training! Everyone is working really hard and doing really well!
The main class kicked off with Ukemi drilling, focusing on nagare (flow) of the movement.
The first half of the class was spent reviewing Musha Dori (Warrior Capture) followed by potential escapes and counters using movement found within the Ninpo Taijutsu of the Bujinkan.
During the break, Alex spoke about some of the various methods and strategies of Ninpo found within the Ryu-ha and their applications. Alex also demonstrated some of the methods of walking found within our Ninpo Taijutsu and explained their usefulness.
The second half of the class was spent reviewing the Iai of Bujinkan Battojutsu and drilling which focused on timing of the movements which facilitates the Iai .
