Class record Monday 27th March 2017

The weather in Ireland has picked up a bit recently so training has become more and more demanding and sweaty. We have been starting training by drilling punches, blocks and kicks and everyone is improving steadily.

On Saturday training we started with the following drills
1. Fudo ken from Ichimonji no kamae
2. Omote Shuto from Ichimonji no kamae
3. Jodan uke nagashi from Ichimonji no kamae
4. Jodan uke nagashi following with Omote shuto

After a short break, we continued with practicing koto ryo techniques:

折倒 Settō – folding knock down and the accompanying henkas
指拍 Shihaku – finger rhythm

Monday training started with the same drills with the addition of

5. Ura shuto from Ichimonji no kamae

 On the second part we practiced a new technique from Koto Ryu:
拒技 Kyogi – repelling ability
