We started the class with Roland leading the kaiten. For the main part of the class, a new format began last night at the dojo. The Monday and Thursday classes are being split, with dan grades being taught by Alex, and the kyu ranks being taught by a junior dan rank, in rotation.

So the yudansha started the Chuden Gata 中伝型 (middle level transmission forms) of Koto Ryu Koppojutsu 虎倒流骨法術, starting with the first waza: Hida 飛打 (jumping strike), and it's two henka. Afterwards we looked at some more Kukishin Ryu Bikenjutsu, practicing Kasugai dome 鎹止 (bind and stop).

The kyusha were instructed by Emmet, where he showed a selection of 3 kata from the Jo Ryaku no Maki 上略之巻 (upper level strategy scroll) of the Gyokko Ryu Kosshijutsu 玉虎流骨指術, Danshu, Danshi and Yubi Kudaki.
