Koto Ryu Koppojutsu

Thursday 6 April, 2017 - Class record

Koto Ryu Koppojutsu

Tonight, after the kaiten grind we drilled some basic punching and kicking using the new training pads we now have in the dojo. We then moved on to omote gyaku and omote gyaku tsuki, looking at variations surrounding uke's reaction to being wrist locked, and how to counter, or rather, "go with" uke for a different resulting throw.

After the break we continued our study of Koto Ryu Koppojutsu Shoden Gata 虎倒流骨法術初伝型, moving on to Uranami 浦波 (inlet waves).
