A rather humid class, beginners started practicing dive rolling for the first time tonight, along with the first Te hodoki 手解き (hand release) waza.
In the main class we studied Musha Dori 武者捕 (warrior capture) in great detail, starting with the very kihon from the Torite Kihon Gata of Gyokko Ryu Kosshijutsu, and then implemeting the technique into a more free-flowing combat approach.
Afterwards we revisited the first three movements in the Bujinkan Battojutsu ukemi gata.
