Tonight we got warmed up with some great drilling from the Taka no Mai movement. The practice of kihon happo continued with Jumonji no kata, and we also looked at a henka for this technique.

The second part of the class focussed on Takagi Yoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu 高木揚心流柔体術. We began with the first technique from the Shoden Omote Gata 初伝表型 (initial transmission outer forms); Kasumi Dori 霞捕 (mist capture).

We will be continuing with this school for the forseeable future, as it hasn't been studied in depth for some time at the dojo. A great turnout tonight, and a fun night's training!
